We welcome all donations in kind!

Our most urgent requirements are

  • school supplies
  • non-perishable food
  • clothes
  • insulation of old classrooms
  • installation of solar panels for the inverter
  • refurbishment of the kitchen
  • new classroom for the special need children

Donation of a container by Laboratoires Servier

Laboratoires Servier South Africa generously offered a brand new container. This container is the perfect addition to the new library and is used as a reading/homework place for the children of the community.

New library for the kids of the township thanks to Unilever and Turner & Townsend

In July 2022, Unilever South Africa in collaboration with Turner & Townsend gifted a new container to be used as a library for the kids of the township. Books were also donated by employees of the 2 companies.

Insulation of 2 classrooms by Saint-Gobain

In January 2022, the training team of Saint-Gobain came to Creche Gabrielle to work on the insulation of 2 of the classrooms.

Donation of school supplies by BIC South Africa

For a couples of years already, BIC South Africa has generously given some school supplies for the children graduating to go to primary school.

At the graduation, the children of the "big" class receive a school bag with loads of supplies to be ready for the next school year.

Donation of beany hats

Every year, the volunteers of Creche Gabrielle try to get some beany hats donated.

We usually manage to get donations by generous donors from France or abroad.

We also give new fleeces to every child.

Organisation of a fund raising event in Poland

The mum of one of the volunteers organised a fund raising event in her hometown in Poland. After a visit at the Creche, she wanted to make an impact. And she did! Thanks to the money she raised, we managed to purchase new tables and chairs for the main classroom at Creche Gabrielle!
